Join our League - for Preservation Organizations

When it comes to effective historic preservation, we’re better together! We invite you to join the HPLO as a League Member.

We’re moving forward with a three-pronged preservation agenda including education, advocacy, and historic conservation easements. With your involvement we will:

• Serve as the central “voice” for preservationists in Oregon, translating local needs into statewide advocacy initiatives.
• Back-up local preservation efforts with advice, information, and advocacy support.
• Provide a clearinghouse of information, connecting League members with issues and solutions.
• Launch problem-solving initiatives such our upcoming Preservation Roundtable on the topic of “Healthy Historic Districts in a Changing World – Compatibility & Viability."

The HPLO offers a special “League Member” designation for local historical societies and preservation groups, Certified Local Governments (CLGs), agencies, and Oregon Main Street program organizations.

League membership entitles you to participate in our new interactive networking site (coming Spring 2010) where your organization can post local information, blog, calendar events, and connect with peers across the state.
